The Furry Friend TAG

 Hello Muggles,

today I would like to do the Furry Friend TAG because I saw it on Anna's Blog And This Little Piggy and it's a very cute TAG to do.
 
 Because I can't use my camera at the moment I'm not able to do the "Pink Box" blogpost now, as I actually planned it, because last month it was one of the most read posts on my blog. I promise to do it right after I found my camera-battery-charger. -.-  :)

1. What is your pets name?

My dog is called Baylie

2. What kind of pet is it and what breed?

As you might have already guessed it's a dog - a Jack Russel Terrier

3. How long have you had your pet friend?

I have had Baylie for more than 8 years now! That's longer than it feels like!

4. How did you get your pet?

I really wanted a dog and one of our neighbours dog just got puppies so I asked my Mom and she said no. One day our neighbour went past our house with her three puppies in a basket and I told my Mom to get outside with me, so that we can talk to our neighbour... just because puppies are cute. :D My Mom than hold the one I wanted (which was Baylie) in her arms and she didn't want to let her go anymore. :) They were very tiny then; about 5 weeks and after that we didn't really talk about it anymore because I didn't want to urge my Mom. 
When I came home on some day 2 weeks later my parents looked at me very weirdly and I was wondering what was going on. My Mom than said there is something for me in the living room and tiny little Baylie-Baby was laying there. :) :)  She was only 7 weeks old but her mother didn't want her and her siblings anymore. She bit them and so they had to give them away.

5. How old is your pet?

Baylie is now 8 years old aready. :)

6. What are some quirky things about your pets personality?

Ohhh... here we go. :D  Baylie is quite strange - like me probably.^^ She actually is VERY quiet! That's not at all typical for a Jack Russel Terrier but she really isn't that lively - except for when she sees another dog. I don't know why but she starts to get quite aggressive when seeing dogs she doesn't know but if they come near her she gets all nice and cute again. xD
She also goes CRAZY when somebody comes home.

7. What does your relationship with your pet mean to you?

Everything! I live with my boyfriend and my dog for almost 4 months now and moving into your first own flat was another big step that brought me closer to my two loves of life. :) My boyfriend and her just mean everything to me - I love them soooo much!

8. What are some of your favourite past times with your pet?

Of course my favourite memory is the day I got my dog. I was so excited and wanted to take her out all the time and I slept on the floor with her... it was just so amazing!
Then I loved the times when my boyfriend, Baylie and me were taking loooong walks in the forrest because I could let her run around having fun without having to watch out for dangers or other dogs. 
And I also had SO much fun when we and a friend drove to a river and Baylie just wanted to play there all the time although she ususally never goes into water. :)

9. What are nicknames that you call your pet?

Mostyl I call her Baylie-Baby or Bayling (which is her asian name obviously^^) :D

Why do you wear makeup - TAG

Hello Muggles,

a few days ago the beautiful Megan from Wonderful You  did the "Why do you wear makeup"-TAG and I thought it was interesting, so here we go...

 
1. When did you begin to love makeup? 

This is actually not that easy to answer. When I was about 12 I really loved clear lipgloss - and I wore like the whole content of one lipgloss tupe on my lips every day. xD

With about 14/15 I went through quite a bad "emo" phase (but fortunately it was new to everyone, so I was the only person to look like this... people didn't make fun of me then because they we're probably scared, which would have been a whole different thing if I started 1 / 2 year(s) later xD) and I used to wear red lipstick and a lot of black liner around my eyes... yes, you read right: lipstick around the eyes. This and black liner were actually the only two make-up items I owned. This is embarassing? Why do I even tell you? :'D

Since December 2011 I'm discovering the make up world again and from a very different point. I started to watch Youtube videos and think more about what make up is really about. I'm not super into it but I'm interested and yeah... so long story short: I'm not immensly in love with make up but interested.

2. How do you feel without makeup?

I'm glad to say that I'm fine without makeup! :)

3. What do you like about makeup? 

I like the fact that makeup can underline your natural beauty. Most women probably don't wear makeup to do this but to make themselves look totally different - however in my opinion this is not the point.

I also really enjoy makeup as being a form of art. Take the girls from "pixiwoo" for example; they do the greatest things with makeup and this could definitely be considered as art.

4. Three 'Holy Grail' Items: 

1) Mascara - the classic.

I think the nice thing about mascara is that it really just underlines or highlights what you've already got. Everyone has lashes but some people (like me -.-) don't like their own lashes to be short, straight and light but a little bit more "out there". What I personally love about mascara is that it always makes you look a little bit more feminine, which I go for because I'm almost a little tomboy otherwise. :D

The one I use at the moment is the ASTOR Volume Artist Modelling Mousse in Waterproof - 800 Black. 

If you know any black, waterproof drugstore mascara, which gives you lots of volume: let me know, please! :)

2) Lipstick  / Lipbalms

I love red-, berry- and plum-toned lipsticks and tinted lipbalms.

The Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Hibiscus is a perfect "your lips but better" product for me. It just highlights my natural lip colour, which I love, plus it is super nurturing!

3) Brow Pencil

My brows are not very full and defined, so I help along with a eyebrow pencil.

Currently I'm using the Catrice Eye Brow Stylist in 020 Date With Ashton, which is a very affordable pencil in the perfect shade for my eyebrows.

SKINCARE

-How many times do you wash your face daily? 
About two times. When it's as hot as it has been recently I do it more often.

-What skin type do you have? (dry,oily,combo)
I have dry skin.

-What is your current facial wash?
I currently use the "Balea Soft Washing Cream" for dry and sensitive skin.

-Do you exfoliate?
Yes, about once a week.

-What brand do you use?
AOK for my face and just an Palmolive Shower Gel + Peeling for my body.

-What moisturizer do you use?
As I am testing the "Nivea" Pure & Natural Moisturizer at the moment I only use this one. Otherwise I use the "Nivea" Daycream for dry and sensitive skin or the "bebe" one for sensitive skin as well.

-Do you have freckles?
Yes and I think I get a new one every day. :D

-Do you use eye cream?
No because I haven't found one that convinced me... or my purse. ;)

-Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
No, I had like 5 spots in my whole life. :')

-Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?
No.

MAKE-UP

-What foundation do you use?
I haven't found a skin-suiting foundation yet. I sometimes use the "bebe" tinted moisturizer for fair skin but that's all.

-How about concealer?
Same here. Sometimes I divert my P2 foundation from its intended use by taking it as an alternative for concealer because I wouldn't use it at all otherwise.

-Do you know your undertone color?
On my face it's pink, which maybe sounds nice but it's impossible to find a nice foundation. :/

-What do you think of fake eyelashes?
I wouldn't use them although I have quite short lashes but it's just a little too much for me personally. But they can look great and I like to see people wearing subtle ones. :)

-Did you know that you are suppose to change your mascara every 3 months?
No, not really. On the packaging it actually says you can use them for 12 months... I would never be able to use a mascara up in 3 months to be honest. :D

-What brand of mascara do you use?
Essence or Manhattan at the moment.

-Sephora or MAC?
Unfortunately I don't own any product of each brand but I'm definitely more interested in MAC things... as you can see on my wish list. :'D

-Do you have a MAC Pro-card?
Nope.

-What makeup tools do you use in make up application?
I use an eyelash curler and brush and also an eyebrow brush on a quite daily base. :)

-Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?
No. If I use eyeshadow I just put some foundation on the lid.

-For the face?
Nope.

-What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?
I like loads of rosey, plummy, reddish shades with my blue eyes. :)

-Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
I use a pencil eyeliner.

-How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
Didn't happen to me yet. Lucky me. :D

-What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?
Don't like them. It's just an enormous mess.

-Do you use mineral makeup?
Nope.

-What is your favorite lipstick?
I like all kinds of rosey-red colours but I don't have a true favourite yet.

-How about lipgloss?
To be honest I don't like or use lipgloss. It drives me insane. :D

-What is your favorite blush to use?
At the moment I'm using the "essence" fruity blush sorbet in the shade 01 smoothie operator, which smells super nice and looks fine as well. :)

-Do you buy your makeup on ebay?
Sometimes I do but only if it's a new product.

-Do you like drugstore makeup?
I think that actually everything I use is from a drugstore because I just started to be really into Make Up and I also don't have the money for high end products. :/

-Do you go to CCO's? (cosmetic company outlets)
No, I don't even know what it is. :')

-Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?
Not really. At the moment Make Up isn't that important for me. I'll stay with watching pixiwoo and others on Youtube. :)

-Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
Not that much actually.

-Name a makeup crime that you hate?
I can't stand people, who have a strong tan (or just too much dark foundation) using light pink lipstick. Urrrrgh! :'D

-Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
I prefer the neutral ones but lipstick can be really bright sometimes.

-Which celebrity always has great make up?
Hm, that's hard because I don't deal with celebritys that much but right now I would go for Emma Watson.

-If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item,what would you use?
Can't decide between Mascara or my Eyebrow-Pencil (because my brows are a mess :/).

-Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
Yes, no problem!

-Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
Unfortunately I'm not that confident about my looks and Make Up doesn't change that. I just try to accept the way I look because actually I cannot change it and I'm not superficial enough to make me look different by using tons of Make Up.

-In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
Oh I'm too new to choose one!

-What do you think of Makeup??
I start to like it more and more because it's just a fun and creative thing. I don't like the "superficial" aspect about it as I said before and I don't think that people should wear Make Up to look prettier or different from what they really look like. I hope you know what I mean... it's hard because there's just so much to say. Maybe I will do another Blog post about it. :)

Hair Spray or Gel? - Hair Spray

Light or Dark? - Difficult... I love dark hair with pale skin but otherwise I would go for light.

Long or Short? - I use to wear my hair medium length but I would love to have a haircut like Meg (lipssofacto.com)!

Side Sweep Bangs or Full Bangs? - Side Sweep Bangs because my hair just doesn't want me to have full bangs. :(

Hey everyone,

I'm sorry that there are loads and loads of TAG's on my tiny Blog but I really enjoy doing them because it brings us Bloggers closer together... I think. :)

I'm currently looking for new Blogs and also would like people to find my Blog easily and this is why I visited ravingbeautyx (click on her name to get to her Blog). I found this TAG and just answered the question RavingBeauty thought of. At the end of this post you will find 11 questions I made up, so you can do the TAG as well! :) HAVE FUN!

1. What is your favorite colour?
- It's a combination of pink and red. And I also like olive at the moment. :)

2. What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
- Mostly reading or writing myself. On sunny days I also enjoy taking my dog out for a loooong walk. 

3. If you were trapped on a dessert island who would you take with take with you?
- My boyfriend of course. ;)

4. If you were trapped on a dessert island what 3 things would you take with you?
- Oh, I hate this question. -.-  But I go for a bowl, cling / wrapping film and some duct tape... because you need those items to turn salty water into drinking water. Am I your survival hero now, or what? xD

5. How long does it take you to put your makeup on in the morning?
- 5 Minutes... because I actually only use some Concealer and Mascara in everyday life.

6. How long does it take you to paint your nails?
- I do not paint my nails because I have the ugliest nails in the world. I think painting them would point them out even more. :D

7. How long does it take you to do your hair?
- Washing takes about 10 minutes because I usually wash them with shampoo twice and then use a conditioner. Drying takes about 1 1/2 hours. I only blowdry them if it's really necessary. 

8. How long does it take you to get out of bed in the morning?
- It takes forever. Seriously, I hate getting up in the morning!

9. What time do you wake up in the morning?
- Because I've got some free time between school and university and I'm also waiting for my new job to begin I live quite a slovenly life... waking up at 1 pm. :D

10. What would you do if you could do anything right now?
- I would be in Loooondon, just enjoying this beautiful city!

11. If Santa was stood infront of you now what would  you ask for?
- Probably if he could get me to England... oooor I would show him my huuuge wishlist containing tons of beauty and fashion items currently. :'D

The ultimate Harry Potter TAG! :)

Hey everyone,

today I watched the Harry Potter TAG by Joey Graceffa and Jim Chapman (click on their names to get to their Youtube-Channels) and I just had to do it of course! By the way: I did the full TAG - I think Joey and Jim left some questions out. ;)

Let's get started...:

1) Favorite book

- My fav's are Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban (because you get to know more about Harrys father, Lupin and Sirius and it's just so interesting!) and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows (just because it's the ending of it all - not that this would be a good thing but I love how everything becomes clear and gets explained).

 2) Favorite movie

- It's part 3 again. I think there are still huge gaps in parts 4-7 and this is why I don't prefer the last movies.

 3) Least favorite book

- I don't have a real least favourite book but I don't like Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix as much as the other because Prof. Umbridge just drives me insane! She's even more horrible in the book than in the film! 

 4) Least favorite movie

- This is quite easy: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! I just don't like the whole atmosphere in the movie and I really don't like Beauxbaton and Durmstrang and their people in the movie. :/

  

 5) Parts of the books/movies that made you cry?

- There were so many but as an example I choose the death of Fred Weasly (I was sitting in an overcrowded bus full of pupils reading that scene for the first time and people were starring at me like I was crazy^^) and the scene when Bellatrix tortures Hermione and Dobby dies shortly after this (I cried my eyeballs out in the cinema!).

 6) Twilight vs. Harry Potter...

- Wtf? 

 7) If you could hook up with any HP character who would it be?

- Actually there is nobody I'm very attracted to... when I was younger I had a crush on Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) but not nowadays anymore. :D

 8) Favorite character?

- Easy-peasy: It's Hermione! She's just so intelligent and helpful and I just love her for doing "S.P.E.W." :')  I also like Sirius Black a lot. :)

 9) What would your Patronus be?

- It would probably be a Deer... or a Koala. :D

 10) If you could have the Resurrection Stone, Invisibility Cloak or the Elder Wand which one would you choose?

- None of them because they are the "Deathly Hollows" but if I really had to choose one I would go for the cloak.

 11) Are you upset with any parts left out in the films?

- Hell yeah! I think there's a scene in every book, which is not in the movies but right now I'm quite mad about the scene from Part 5 when Harry & co are in St. Mungos and they meet Nevilles parents. Especially because Nevilles part is quite big in the last movie I think it would have been important to show his parents and his situation. 

The second scene, which isn't in the movies is when Dudley says goodbye to Harry at the beginning of part 7. They filmed it but it git deleted in the end. :/

I could go on and on but I don't think that anyone's interested in reading it, right?^^

 12) What House would you be in?

- I'm sure that I would be in Hufflepuff. In Pottermore I'm a Hufflepuff as well... and I like it! I'm nobody, who laughs about them - I like being a Hufflepuff. :D

 13) Favorite subject at Hogwarts?

- There was a time when I did some "Hogwarts online" stuff and we had to take classes and do homework and so on (was quite fun actually - although it's nerdy as hell^^) and I enjoyed "History of Magic" the most. But because I didn't like history in my real school life I would go for "Charms" or "Defense Against the Dark Arts". :)

 14) Favorite professor?

- Professor Lupin! :)

 15) If you could meet any member of the cast who would it be?

- Maybe Emma Watson.

 16) If you could do one spell in real life what would it be?

- It would be "Lumos" because I'm afraid of the dark and that would help. :D

 17) Have you played any of the video games?

- I started several of them but didn't like them that much. I played the 1st one on PlayStation, the 3rd / 4th (I think) on NDS and the 7th on XBOX360.

 18) If you were on the Quiddich team which position would you play?

- I would suck at Quidditch! Seriously! But being a seeker sounds better than the rest. ;)

 
19) Were you happy with the ending?

- Yes, I was. I didn't like the "19 years later" thing but the ending before was totally fine.

 20) How much does Harry Potter mean to you?

- Oh, quite a lot to be honest. This is what I grew up with and I always saw Harry Potter as my hero (like Spiderman or whoever is for other people). I'm just in love with the whole magical world and the character and I'm really thankful that Joanne K. Rowling wrote the books and got the opportunity to publish them! :)
