Little Update...

Hello Muggles,

I just wanted to concentrate your attention to the new bar up there. 
It not only contains a "About Me"-section but also a personal wishlist, my favourite Blogger and Youtube and some ways how to contact me (i.e. E-Mail address, Twitter...).

I also would like you to leave me a comment saying what you would like to see / read on my Blog. Any suggestions or wishes? 

I will visit "gamescom" (which is a trade fair about computer and video games) on Thursday, so I will definitely write something about that and show some pictures. I know that most of you probably are not that interested into this kind of stuff but I always find it super interesting and I would go there even if I wasn't interested in games at all!

Next week I will do a blog post about school (including some tips) because it's the end of summer holiday where I live next week, so I thought it would be nice to do the post at start of school.

Sunday Favourite #4

Hello Muggles,

this time my Sunday Favourite will be relaxing bubble baths. :)

Before I moved out of my parents house I didn't really like taking a bath, I preferred taking a quick shower. Now that I only have a bathtub I started to enjoy it and see what other people find so relaxing about it.

Yesterday I made myself a nice evening because my boyfriend had to work ( :( ). I took a bath using a lovela new bath foam (which you can see on the picture down below), lit some scented candles and put a face mask on. I didn't take a picture although it looked nice but it's a little too private for me so I took a picture from pinterest up there, which looks even prettier. ;)

Since I am into audiobooks I always listen to one when I'm taking a bath, which is even more relaxing I think because I hate silence and being in a very quiet room freaks me out.

Eye Brows

Hello Muggles,

today it's a little more about Beauty!

Eye Brows are one of the most important parts in a face, I think. They contour and give your face a shape - if you know what I mean.

Emma Watson

The first person I would like to talk about is Emma Watson. I think we all know how beautiful she is but I personally think that it is her brows that make her look outstanding. She has quite an average face otherwise (which is not bad at all!). For me she has the most gorgeous brows ever! They have the perfect shape and colour for her face and just make her look unique.

Lily Collins

 When talking about eye brows I have to include Lily Collins. I think it is partly because of her that (wo)men start to like strong eye brows. Lily is just adorable and her full and dark brows definitely give her that signature look of hers. 
Like I said before: brows make you look special and unique. They also emphasize your facial moves and I think this is why it is perfect for actors and actresses to have strong brows. People tend to forget that acting mostly is about facial expressions (and gestures).

Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen

Of course I also have to mention Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Both of them have nice eye brow shapes but I think it is Ashley, who really stands out for her brows. They just make her very soft and cute face look a bit more mature and edgy. 


Now, let's talk about my brows a bit...

I really have some problems with my eye brows because (as you can see on the left) they are patchy and quite fair au natural. -.-  I don't know why but when I was about 12 or 13 years old they started falling out kind of. I once mentioned that I have neurodermatitis and it started when I was a teen, so I had to use salve, which contained cortisone and I don't know if this salve really caused my eye brows to fall out but after using it, it just happened. Since then I have patchy eye brows, which are impossible to give a nice shape to.
On the right side I applied my new eye brow pencil by Catrice and I think it looks much better! The colour is perfect because it is the exact same tone my roots have. I think you can see that quite good on the following picture:

Sorry about my stupid grinning. :D Like on the picture above: My left eye brow is undone, whilst the right one is filled out with an eye brow pencil. My natural hair colour is a ashy blonde or light brown as you can see on the picture and my longer hair has a reddish colour (ombre for noobs! xD). It looks extremely messy and strange because I didn't do anything after washing it - no blowdrying, no straightening... and this is how it turns out to look like. Good lord! ;D (I am also not wearing any Make-Up. So this is what I look like with only one brow finished. :D)

I have good news today - well, they are for me.
When I checked my mails today I found an E-Mail that said Katie from vividiorquue nominated me for the Liebster Award. I've seen it before, but didn't really know what it was about.

11 things about myself

1) Sports and maths were my least favourite subjects in school.

2) When I was about 7 years old I was allowed to pet a Koala in zoo.

3) I would love to have red hair.

4) My current boyfriend actually is my first boyfriend and we've been together for almost 6 years now.

5) I'm very interested in conspiracy theories and everyone laughs / makes jokes about it.

6) My two biggest dreams are to travel the world and to become a Mommy (I'm 21 already o.o).

7) I've got an older sister, who actually is an author and a younger brother, who's a nerd. :D

8) When I was about 14 years old I was incredibly obsessed with My Chemical Romance and looked horribly strange! o.o

9) My favourite seasons are spring and summer although I have hay fever & avoid the sun because I'm very pale.

10) In October I will start going to University and my subjects will be "English Studies" and "German Language and Literature".

11) I'm terribly shy and actually don't like to speak to any strangers at all.

1. What is your dream job?

- I would like to be an author or a teacher.

2. What is your favourite restaurant? 

- I don't have one to be honest. I just don't eat out that often and when I do I go to a chinese restaurant because my boyfriend loves it but I don't enjoy it as much as he does. :')

3.  Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they?

- I would consider writing and reading my hobbies.

4. What is your favourite beauty item that you own?

- I think it is my mascara. It is only a cheap one by "Essence" but I love it. It makes my lashes look so great without clumping at all!

5. Do you have any fears?

- Way too many! I am afraid of darkness and silence and these two things combined make me just freak out! I am also afraid of getting to know other people or speaking to them... and tons of other things. Being afraid of so many things is not good at all - I know. :(

6. What is your favourite time of the year?

- I love spring and summer but if I really had to choose one I would go for summer. :)

7. Favourite album?

- Difficult, difficult... maybe "Happiness" by Dance Gavin Dance.

8.  Something that you never leave the house without?

- Keys? :D No besides that I always take my backpack with me - always!

9. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

- Either Australia or England. I've been to England two times and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately I've never been to Australia but I really feel connected to it since I was five years old - not joking!

10. Tea or coffee?

- Tea! I don't drink coffee at all.

11. Why did you start blogging?

- I started blogging because I love to write. I also am very shy as I said before and it's hard for me to talk to people. By doing a blog you can communicate with people by using a kind of art form. It's a creative act that makes me feel better. I would also like to refer the quote from Jane Austens "Northanger Abbey", which you can read in my "About Me" section. :)

Mini Haul!

Hello Muggles,

yesterday I've been to the central part of my city (which is a metropolis! (I hope you can read sarcasm)) and got a few things.

Let's start with the most random thing: I got a clothbrush by H&M, which has a beautiful pattern and colour I think! Because I have a dog, there's literally hair everywhere and I just need to brush my clothes everyday. Otherwise I would look like my dog. ;) I paid 1 € instead of 1,95. 

As you can see I also bought a new eye brow pencil and it's the "Eye Brow Stylist" by "Catrice Cosmetics" in 020 Date With Ash-Ton (what a nice name!). I'm going to do a post all about eye brows soon, so you can read what I think about it later. ;) Oh, before I forget: It was a bargain! It's not expensive at all anyway but it was 30 % off additionally.

I'm a little late with that but I bought my first Carmex and it is also my first lip balm in a tin! :) I don't really now why I didn't get one earlier. Nevertheless I like it. I love the fact that it smells like vanilla but on the lips it smells and tastes like peppermint and has that nice feeling I can't describe. :/ 

This also was 30 % off.

Last thing I got are these pants. I really couldn't take a good picture of it but I think the most important fact is the colour. I wanted aubergine/purple/darkred pants for sooo long but couldn't find any before. I think you call those things "treggins" but I hate that word, so I will continue saying pants. :D As you can imagine, they are very tight and stretchy and the most comfortable pants I ever had! When my boyfriend saw them he looked at me like I was crazy. xD

Well, what else is there to say? They're from H&M and were 14,95 €.

I'm sorry that there are loads and loads of TAG's on my tiny Blog but I really enjoy doing them because it brings us Bloggers closer together... I think. :)

I'm currently looking for new Blogs and also would like people to find my Blog easily and this is why I visited ravingbeautyx (click on her name to get to her Blog). I found this TAG and just answered the question RavingBeauty thought of. At the end of this post you will find 11 questions I made up, so you can do the TAG as well! :) HAVE FUN!

1. What is your favorite colour?
- It's a combination of pink and red. And I also like olive at the moment. :)

2. What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
- Mostly reading or writing myself. On sunny days I also enjoy taking my dog out for a loooong walk. 

3. If you were trapped on a dessert island who would you take with take with you?
- My boyfriend of course. ;)

4. If you were trapped on a dessert island what 3 things would you take with you?
- Oh, I hate this question. -.-  But I go for a bowl, cling / wrapping film and some duct tape... because you need those items to turn salty water into drinking water. Am I your survival hero now, or what? xD

5. How long does it take you to put your makeup on in the morning?
- 5 Minutes... because I actually only use some Concealer and Mascara in everyday life.

6. How long does it take you to paint your nails?
- I do not paint my nails because I have the ugliest nails in the world. I think painting them would point them out even more. :D

7. How long does it take you to do your hair?
- Washing takes about 10 minutes because I usually wash them with shampoo twice and then use a conditioner. Drying takes about 1 1/2 hours. I only blowdry them if it's really necessary. 

8. How long does it take you to get out of bed in the morning?
- It takes forever. Seriously, I hate getting up in the morning!

9. What time do you wake up in the morning?
- Because I've got some free time between school and university and I'm also waiting for my new job to begin I live quite a slovenly life... waking up at 1 pm. :D

10. What would you do if you could do anything right now?
- I would be in Loooondon, just enjoying this beautiful city!

11. If Santa was stood infront of you now what would  you ask for?
- Probably if he could get me to England... oooor I would show him my huuuge wishlist containing tons of beauty and fashion items currently. :'D

Late Sunday Favourite(s) #3

Hey everyone,

as I'm all into my upcoming University experiences I totally forgot to do my Sunday Favourite(s) yesterday. :')

Nevertheless, for this week it is the Catrice Colour Infusion Longlasting Lipstain in the shade 020 Rose Wood Avenue.

The packaging has a darker shade of an antique / dusky pink with some purple undertones - unfortunately it seems quite orangy-red on the picture. :/  Anyway on the lips it becomes this very pretty reddish colour, so that it actually looks like my natural lip colour but better, which I love. And because it is a stain you can do several coats and it becomes even more red, so that you can do a very nice red lip with the stain. I'm a little upset that it doesn't have the packaging colour on the lips though. I actually thought that I have enough red lip products already. ;)
The packaging itself is quite simple but I like it. 

By the way: If you don't like sweet scents and flavours in a lip product, I wouldn't recommend it to you because it is very sweet and almost a little sticky on the lips.

Before I forget: The Lipstain was only 3,95 Euro, which is a bargain. In Germany you can get in a drugstore called "dm".

The ultimate Harry Potter TAG! :)

Hey everyone,

today I watched the Harry Potter TAG by Joey Graceffa and Jim Chapman (click on their names to get to their Youtube-Channels) and I just had to do it of course! By the way: I did the full TAG - I think Joey and Jim left some questions out. ;)

Let's get started...:

1) Favorite book

- My fav's are Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban (because you get to know more about Harrys father, Lupin and Sirius and it's just so interesting!) and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows (just because it's the ending of it all - not that this would be a good thing but I love how everything becomes clear and gets explained).

 2) Favorite movie

- It's part 3 again. I think there are still huge gaps in parts 4-7 and this is why I don't prefer the last movies.

 3) Least favorite book

- I don't have a real least favourite book but I don't like Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix as much as the other because Prof. Umbridge just drives me insane! She's even more horrible in the book than in the film! 

 4) Least favorite movie

- This is quite easy: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! I just don't like the whole atmosphere in the movie and I really don't like Beauxbaton and Durmstrang and their people in the movie. :/

  

 5) Parts of the books/movies that made you cry?

- There were so many but as an example I choose the death of Fred Weasly (I was sitting in an overcrowded bus full of pupils reading that scene for the first time and people were starring at me like I was crazy^^) and the scene when Bellatrix tortures Hermione and Dobby dies shortly after this (I cried my eyeballs out in the cinema!).

 6) Twilight vs. Harry Potter...

- Wtf? 

 7) If you could hook up with any HP character who would it be?

- Actually there is nobody I'm very attracted to... when I was younger I had a crush on Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) but not nowadays anymore. :D

 8) Favorite character?

- Easy-peasy: It's Hermione! She's just so intelligent and helpful and I just love her for doing "S.P.E.W." :')  I also like Sirius Black a lot. :)

 9) What would your Patronus be?

- It would probably be a Deer... or a Koala. :D

 10) If you could have the Resurrection Stone, Invisibility Cloak or the Elder Wand which one would you choose?

- None of them because they are the "Deathly Hollows" but if I really had to choose one I would go for the cloak.

 11) Are you upset with any parts left out in the films?

- Hell yeah! I think there's a scene in every book, which is not in the movies but right now I'm quite mad about the scene from Part 5 when Harry & co are in St. Mungos and they meet Nevilles parents. Especially because Nevilles part is quite big in the last movie I think it would have been important to show his parents and his situation. 

The second scene, which isn't in the movies is when Dudley says goodbye to Harry at the beginning of part 7. They filmed it but it git deleted in the end. :/

I could go on and on but I don't think that anyone's interested in reading it, right?^^

 12) What House would you be in?

- I'm sure that I would be in Hufflepuff. In Pottermore I'm a Hufflepuff as well... and I like it! I'm nobody, who laughs about them - I like being a Hufflepuff. :D

 13) Favorite subject at Hogwarts?

- There was a time when I did some "Hogwarts online" stuff and we had to take classes and do homework and so on (was quite fun actually - although it's nerdy as hell^^) and I enjoyed "History of Magic" the most. But because I didn't like history in my real school life I would go for "Charms" or "Defense Against the Dark Arts". :)

 14) Favorite professor?

- Professor Lupin! :)

 15) If you could meet any member of the cast who would it be?

- Maybe Emma Watson.

 16) If you could do one spell in real life what would it be?

- It would be "Lumos" because I'm afraid of the dark and that would help. :D

 17) Have you played any of the video games?

- I started several of them but didn't like them that much. I played the 1st one on PlayStation, the 3rd / 4th (I think) on NDS and the 7th on XBOX360.

 18) If you were on the Quiddich team which position would you play?

- I would suck at Quidditch! Seriously! But being a seeker sounds better than the rest. ;)

 
19) Were you happy with the ending?

- Yes, I was. I didn't like the "19 years later" thing but the ending before was totally fine.

 20) How much does Harry Potter mean to you?

- Oh, quite a lot to be honest. This is what I grew up with and I always saw Harry Potter as my hero (like Spiderman or whoever is for other people). I'm just in love with the whole magical world and the character and I'm really thankful that Joanne K. Rowling wrote the books and got the opportunity to publish them! :)

Good news! :)

Hey everyone,

today I would just like to share some good news with you. 

My University of choice accepted me for English + German studies! :) I am also allowed to study for becoming a teacher but I think I'll do the normal English and German studies because you learn more about literature then. :)

I'm super happy right now and hope you will have a happy day as well! :)
